Just a quick entry tonight. I've been busy trying to set up a site on blog.com. Now its very pretty over there with nice and fancy comments and the other bells and whistles, as well as good templates. But you can't use HTML and I'm no good with WYSIWYG editors. Anyway, its all a bit frustrating, but take a look over there, its nice. Won't replace this thing though.

Aside from that, I've not been doing much. I went to the library today and got out a Robin McKinley book, which has turned out to be a rather disturbing fairy story which is nevertheless quite good. I've also been reading a collection of Poppy Z Brite's short stories which I am enjoying rather a lot. She's very good at short stories - and this is a compliment coming from someone who doesn't really like ultra-violent erotic horror.

I've signed on and apparently it doesn't matter that I didn't go to Employment Solutions on Thursday, they don't really care. One of the things I've noticed about that Jobcentre is that we don't get to have "careers", we just get to have "jobs", which is a telling assumption on the part of the authority really.

I have given myself neckache being on here too long so now I'm going to go and watch my tape of Law & Order: Criminal Intent which has been waiting for me since Wednesday.
I have taken to naming posts after what I am listening to, as I can never think of an interesting title.
