Feeling Virtuous

Well, I am feeling all virtuous today. I've finished writing up a practical report for biology (why do we seem to get more work for that class than physics?), complete with pretty drawings and the like. At least I think its ok, it was really meant to be finished in the class but apparently no one actually bothers doing it. I've also looked through the jobs pages - I couldn't find anything but that doesn't matter. I also got a reply about my request for a reference for my UCAS form - a bit annoying as they've just said they're going to pass it on to the person I already spoke to who told me to email them...tsk.

I have a practical in physics on Wednesday which should be quite fun. Just sticking weights on a spring and following Hooke's Law. Which isn't exactly difficult and I did well in the last practical (87.5%!) so I'm hoping I'll do well in this one too. Just have to remember that everything has to be handed in at the end, so I'll have to be sure not to dawdle.

I've been playing my new computer game and enjoying it very much. Except for one slightly disturbing thing...the dark elf character sounds like Peter Mandelson. Which is actually a bit worrying. Hem.

Aside from that nothing of particular interest has happened. My cousin wanted to come and visit but we've put her off - mainly because we have nowhere for her to stay, and because it would be awkward going places with her when I have little money, whereas she's earning and would be wanting to splurge. I want to see her at Christmas anyway though, I like my cousin.

Well, really thats it. Just a random update.
