Anyway I had an interview with the Methodists for an admin job with them yesterday. It was a good interview - a very easy test (who can't, after all, type a letter using Word?) and a nice interview with pleasant interviewers who laughed at my funny comments and seemed nice. They were going to get back to me today to let me know but haven't, maybe tomorrow.
Today I went to Wandsworth to post a letter. The post is so dreadful that I didn't trust to it getting through in time via the mail. So I thought I'd hand-deliver it but couldn't find the office! Wandsworth is ages away as well. I asked everyone in sight if they knew of the place but they didn't, found the street number but there was just a newsagents there, couldn't find it anywhere. Even the Post Office couldn't find it. So I bought a stamp and stuck the letter in the post. So much for a wasted journey.
Bought myself a book on forensics - thought it might be interesting and one on psychopaths. Which probably makes me look a bit funny lol.
Aside from that things have been quiet. Have been watching the England v Portugal match tonight, we lost. We deserved to though, completely outclassed by Portugal. Still they tried and it was a near miss so that is something anyway. Even if it does mean we have no chance of getting the world cup now, there's always next year and we've been losing for thirty odd years anyway so one more hardly counts.
I had to have a chickenpox vaccination today. In fact this has been an unusually busy week for me. Signing on on Monday, psychiatrist appointment on Tuesday (which I managed to miss completely because I got on the wrong bus while looking for a shortcut, so I next see her in August sometime), interview on Wednesday and this injection today. Means I've been getting up unusually early and I don't much enjoy that. I have another interview coming up, in Barking this time, for a librarian job. Things are finally looking up, it seems, maybe to do with my revamped CV.
So, thats about it. Now back to my new game...
