I've been going through my books - and what a load of crap I've collected! I've set aside a bunch of boring children's books (some of them are quite interesting, and I'm keeping them), three copies of Edgar Allan Poe which I seem to have collected from somewhere, and a bunch of crap religious books I picked up cheaply for no apparent reason. Plus I went through the tapes that mad girl from 3rd year left me, some good stuff. She seems to have collected everything that Queen ever did, which is good, plus some 50s music, stuff for the car really as I no longer have a cassette player. Just got to go through my clothes now and get rid of ancient old mouldering things and then I'm done for a while.
Went for an eye test - and for the first time in years my eyesight has not got any worse so it looks like its sticking where it is. That means I could go and have that laser surgery thing if I wanted to, seeing as they're not getting worse, only I have a terror of ending up blind so I probably wouldn't do it. But I could, if I wanted to.
Bought myself a new computer game - the Sims, but as my Playstation is in London, I can't play it yet. But it was going cheap so I had to buy it. Bought the best of Don McLean the other day too on CD as it was going cheap and I only have him on vinyl at the moment.
Um, thats about it. Going to Seahouses tomorrow, though not on another boat I think. Just for lunch and a little toddle about. Though I suspect that the Methodists are no longer having their sale, which is probably a good thing seeing as I spent lots of money on some really awful books the last time. Show me a book and I'll probably buy it, I have something of a problem with literature methinks.
Anyhow, thats it, will update again probably when I'm back in London.
