In the Pub...Again

Well, had a good day today sitting listening to Bob Marley in a country pub. Before that, went and got my hair cut and now look like a sheared sheep since saying "could you get rid of my awful fringe" ended up taking away rather a lot of my hair altogether. Still it looks fine, and I hate going to the hairdresser so I won't need to go for a while. Why do they always have to shave my neck though? Something funny about that, I'm sure.

Aside from that, I had a good idea for a new story, a murder mystery involving the internet which I want to work on. Not fanfic, though, because I would really, really like to eventually get something together and submit it to a publisher and fanfic is, of course, rather on the illegal side. Anyway I'm going to get going on that soonish.

Good news ish on the jobs front, as my friendly local MP has started sending me the internal jobs list for the party, so I can get first dibs on the jobs with various MPs and the like. There was a good one going in Brussels but I don't have fluent French (just rather fractured, I'm afraid) so no goes there. Good job though.

Spent some time getting rid of papers and the like from university, nearly choked myself on the dust, and discovered some interesting stuff and some weirdy stuff, including a vast amount of website text - including the text for Drear Oblivion which no one visits anymore. Come to think of it no one really visits here anymore either, but never mind.

Well thats about it for the moment. Will write some more later.
