Outlay

Well, more like up and down really. My parents left for the North on Thursday, and I've been by myself. Which I quite enjoy - half the time I've been rather uplifted (which may be because I've, er, stopped taking my medication for a while), but some of the time has been quite bad.

Of course it gets a bit worse when the parents are away, not because I am dependent on them or anything like that, purely and simply because I can let my sleep patterns get as out of hand as I wish and because I have the time and the opportunity to cut as much as I want to if I want to. I have managed to resist the temptation so far - but mostly by avoiding anything remotely to do with cutting, including this diary, Safe Haven, large parts of the internet...anything that might cause me to think about it, really.

Shirley is coming down tomorrow, so I have to clean the house. I probably won't update while she's here - obligations to a guest and all - so I'll maybe get back to writing then.
