Books and Comedy

I actually managed to wake up at a reasonable (ish) hour and make it out of the house and up to the town. Where I promptly became paranoid about bombs on Oxford Street and scuttled off up a side street.

Where I naturally went into a pub, as usual.

But not before buying some more books. So I have plenty to read for a while. Except I already crave more - I wonder, is it possible to be addicted to reading?

Anyway, parents went out to see Thorougly Modern Milly which means my dad will be tapdancing in lifts forever now (he does it anyway, and it is not fun if you're in some ancient, rickety old thing). So I spent time watching the list of the best sitcoms on the TV :-) Though I am shocked that Citizen Smith didn't make it in, that used to be my favourite. Though Hi-de-Hi, Allo Allo and Are You Being Served did, so I am pleased.

I still don't know who won the actual vote though, I couldn't be arsed watching Jonathan Ross babble on for an hour making a filler programme.

Aside from that, life is as boring as ever it was. I may go on a course, I've found a place that does extremely cheap little night classes in all sorts of things - including book binding!
