I'm getting a tattoo!

I've been thinking about it for a while, and decided to go for it - after all, no one is going to be seeing my arms for a good long while because of the scars, and a tattoo will look a lot nicer than a scar!

I've decided to get a celtic spiral thing, the ones with the three prongs - like the Isle of Man symbol. Its black, quite big (about an inch in width) and I'm going to get it on my upper arm. I was going to get it on my lower arm - but thought that maybe it'd be too big or if I ever show my arms again that people might think I was some sort of schemie or something.

I'm a bit worried about my weight though - I'm overweight, and if I lose weight what'll happen to it? If its on my upper arm then I can always ignore it - better than if it was constantly under my eyes!

If I like it, I saw some cool other designs!

I'm not worried about the pain - it can't be worse than razor blades!

On Sunday I'm going to visit my parents so I'll have to hide it because they'd go nuts - but I'll be hiding my arms anyway.

Its costing me £35 which is quite a lot of money - but not I suppose when you consider that this will last forever. Shirley is getting one too - a smiling sun, and then Gillian and Lynn are also getting ones from a different shop - Gillian is getting an icthus fish and Lynn a daisychain.

At the moment, I'm trying not to worry about seeing my parents and being nagged about jobs + having to hide scars + not being able to smoke while I'm there by concentrating on the tattoo I'm getting.
